Download ISO file on Datastore Iso file

Hello,

We have a Datastore Iso file, we need to download a file on this datastore to my workstation.

But on the ESX, we have an error when I try to download or modify this file

Error on ESX: Device or Ressource Busy

I think this error is due to a mount of this ISO file on VM.

So, how to check which VM use this ISO File without open all VM's edit settings ?

Hi There

If you download RVTools and connect to the VC and go to the vCD tab you will see what VM's are connected to what ISO's.

Aloha - I am reading about RVTools now and can't determine if it needs to be installed on the VC server or on any machine that has the VI client on it.

you can install it anywhere, the VIC does not need to be isntalled. When you launch the tool it will ask you for your vCenter name and credentials.
