Downgrade 3.5u5 to 3.5u4 possible ?

Hi,

We've got too much Pbs with the new way to use SAN in ESX 3.5u5 (8 or 12 first charactersonly in 3.5u5).

Is there a way to downgrade easily (we use update manager) from 3.5u5 to 3.5u4 ?

Just reinstall ESX hosts with U4 while in maintenance mode. I guess there is no option to downgrade by UM

Nothing is left - only to agree with .

I want only to add I would strongly consider doing this on a box that you don't care

about first, uninstall vmtools, vmotion it back to a 3.5.u4 box then

re-install the vmtools on the 3.5u4 box and see how it runs. Again I

haven't tested this so I can't tell you for sure but something worth

testing.
