Disabling automatic drive lettering in VCB

We have 3 ESX 3.0.2 servers setup with access to one shared 400GB LUN on an EVA where there are about 8 virtual machines. We also have Virtual Center setup. We now want to setup VCB.

The first thing we did was to give access to the VCB Proxy (which is also the Virtual Center server) to the shared 400 GB LUN where the vms live. The LUN can now be seen in disk manager in windows from that server.

Next, we disabled automatic drive lettering on the VCB Proxy by running the following commands:

diskpart

automount disable

My question is, because the LUN was already presented to the VCB proxy before I ran this command to disable automatic drive lettering, if I install VCB and run a backup, will the server automatically mount and format that LUN with NTFS? That would be bad..... very bad!
