Deleting Infrastructure VM machines query

Hi,

This is just a quick question. When deleting a virtual machine from Infrstructure we've noticed that the files still reside in the file system. What is the correct procedure for removing a machine completely? Do we need to login through Veeam and then delete the vmk files or si there another way to do this? Any suggestion would be most appreciated.

What sort of files are you seeing left over? With the VI client you can right click on the VM and select delete from disk. That should get most of the files, but you may be running 3rd party apps that are creating other files. Those you could delete with some like fastSCP or whichever SSH client you use.
