Create local VMFS partition

I'm going through the steps outlined in this VMware KB article, , to create a VMFS partition on my blade. I'm through step 19 and now need to format the partition using vmkfstools. I'm seconding guessing a part of the command within vmkfstools and that part is this, /vmfs/devices/disks/vmhba1:2:0:. On my blade /vmfs doesn't exist. Will this command create these directories for me?

I don't know if this helps or not but by running this command, esxcfg-mpath -l, this is the LUN information I was given:

Disk vmhba0:0:0 /dev/cciss/c0d0

It may not be created because I don't have any local VMFS partitions on the blades. All of our VMFS partitions are on a fibre attached SAN.
