Copy Data From USB Flash Drive To Guest

Dear All

How can I put a USB flash drive and copy some data and programs from other Pcs to a guest VM on ESX 3.5 ?

You can also purchase ethernet attached USB hubs. With these you install an agent into the VM and it will mount the USB drive as if it was connected directly to the VM.

Hai,

Since you cannot connect flash drive directly to VM so that you can connect flash drive to one PC and u can do RDP to vm .While connecting VM through RDP go to advance option and enable access to plug & play storage.

Then I think u can access flsh drive.

Connect your USB drive or stick to any other pc on your network and share it, so that you can connect it to within your VM.
