Hello,
I need to convert a DMZ server to be a virtual machine - I have a separate VM host for this as per best practice - but don't know which ports I need to open to allow the Virtual Center, dedicated host and storage on the dedicated host to be able to see the DMZ machine.
Any help grate fully accepted.
Thanks,

Hello,
You may wish to do the conversion in the DMZ then ship the VM to the production side as an alternative option. I tend to not want to open up more ports on my DMZ firewalls than what is required to run the systems. Also, if you will be setting up a DMZ inside an ESX server then you should read http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/dmz_virtualization_vmware_infra_wp.pdf if you have not already.
