I once converted some dell poweredges with oem licenses.
What a pita. We have had to reactivate many times. Lesson learned was to keep up on hotfixes and updates. To many updates at one time
and reactivation time again. I have only seen this with dell oem licenses.
Never looked at the license violation aspect previous post mentioned.
Plus the oem p2v'd seems have always been the slowest guests we have for performance boot and login
