Hi,
Need some help to resolve error constant error messages on ESX 3.5 (build 163429). The server is stand alone and is not apart of virtual centre.
The error message is below.
Thanks
Resent tasks
browse diagnostic manager
system logs (hostd.log)
TaskManager 82480info Task Created: haTask-ha-host-vim.DiagnosticManager.browse-1060
TaskManager 82480info Task Completed: haTask-ha-host-vim.DiagnosticManager.browse-1060
Hi,
Welcome to the VMware community forums.
It is not an error message.
The hostd.log is more of what eventlog is in windows, so it shows tasks and sometimes also an error if a task didn't complete.
The funny part about the message you show is that it will always be there if you look into the hostd.log as it is the event of YOU looking in the eventlog.

Nothing to worry about.

This will give you the interanl task infomation and not any error message. Hostd.log will show much more information about the logging events happended on the esx server.

Thank you, should I be receiving notification every 5 seconds or so.
That's the default host.d log behaviour...
