Go to c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\

and remove the following lines from the vpxd.cfg file and reboot the server.

Hello,

Consolidation is not a tab but a Button be sure your View shows the 'Main Toolbar' as checked and look for the Consolidation icon.

I have the same problem. I even used to have the button, but then at some point it disappeared. Now I can't get it back.

You have to install the utility from the VC_25 Installation CD or from the ISO.

It's in the vpx folder, Capacity Planner. Then you should see it on main tool bar / consolidation.

Is the consolidation service running on the VC server?

I successfully installed it (and in fact re-installed it) from the Plugins menu in the VI client. I do still get the "Import Machine..." option when right-clicking on hosts, etc. The Capacity Planner and Converter Enterprise services are running on the VirtualCenter server.
