Connectivity problems

I have ESX servers on separate subnets. Servers 1 & 2 are on subnet A and Server 3 is on subnet B. All three servers are being managed in VC. My problem is that I cannot cold migrate VMs from Server 3 to either Server 1 or Server 2 without getting a "Failure to connect to host" error. There is a firewall between the two subnets but I can't tell that there are ports that need to be open by looking at the security setting in VC. Putting Server 3 on subnet A is not an option tdue to other infrastructure constraints. I don't have the vmkernel port configured on any of the servers. I don't believe that matters because I can migrate VMs between Server 1 and Server 2. Is anyone aware of special configuration settings that are required to support ESX servers on different subnets?

I believe that you need both ports 902 & 903 open on your firewall.

I found a very complete description of the ports used by the VI3 components. Here is a link to the doc: http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-5401.
