Configure Virtual Networks

I'm attempting to utilize one nic for each VM on my ESX server, or at the very least use both nic's at the same time. I tried assigning a VM to each nic after creating two virtual switches and now the VM's are not getting the correct IP from dhcp, and assigning one does not fix the issue. What's the best way for me to set this up having only two nics? I know more would be better but it's not an option right now. Thanks for the info!

if you only have two pNICs, I would just create one vSwitch and have everything on it. This way atleast you have some redundancy.

Alright, I guess that works, I just wanted to increase throughput for now and get more nics later for redundancy. What about the issue with the IP addresses. Is there any reason the VM's shouldn't be getting an IP from the DHCP on the rest of the network?
