Hi,
I'm trying to uses Microsoft Cluster Services in the following setup:
Node 1 : Windows 2003 Enterprise (x64)
System Partition : vmdk on the SAN, SCSI 0:0
Shared Storage : RDM to a LUN on the SAN, Bus Sharing Physical, SCSI LSI Logic 1:0
Quorum : RDM to a LUN on the SAN Bus Sharing Physical, SCSI LSI Logic 2:0
Node 2 : Windows 2003 Enterprise (x64)
System Partition : vmdk on the SAN, SCSI 0:0
Shared Storage : Existing vmdk Node 1 RDM to a LUN on the SAN, Bus Sharing Physical, SCSI LSI Logic 1:0
Quorum : Exisitng vmdk Node 1 RDM to a LUN on the SAN, Bus sharing Physical, SCSI LSI Logic 2:0
SAN is iSCSI NetApp FAS3020
Before clustering attempt, both servers have access to both shared storage and quorum.
After clustering attemp, the 2nd node looses access to shared storage and quorum. 1st node complains that 2nd node has no access to quorum and therefore clustering fails.
I ran ClusPrep.exe and it show no issues on all nodes.
When I reboot the 1st node, the 2nd node then regains access to the shared storage and the quorum driives.

as indicated in the prerequisites for clustering in the following document: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi3_35/esx_3/r35u2/vi3_35_25_u2_mscs.pdf
the storage should be FC SAN
