Cannot connect ESX with VI Client

Hello,

Since 2 days one of my esx appears as disconnected and I can't re-connect it via the virtual center or directly with the VI Client...

I restart the mgmt-vmware service but the problem persists

Has someboby an idea ?

sounds like a physical network issue - can you ping from the service console to your vc server? Has the IP address changed on your host ?

Yes, the IP config is OK. I can connect the ESX through the consol.

We don't change anything on the host...

when you say connect through the console are you talking about the physical console or through an SSH client like Putty? if it is through the physical console and you aare logged in as root try running the service mgfmt-vmware restart also try pinging your vc server
