Can the SC network be on the same network as the vm network?

Due to our network design constraint, we may have to put the SC network on the same VLAN. There's a security concern here, but beside from that, is there any other concerns with this design? Thanks in advance for any feedbacks.

I ihave done that without any issue. Its better to be on a seperate network but works just fine with all on the same network

It's basically a security aspect than a design one.
