Can't start the Virtual Center

Hi,

I made a installation of virtual center on windows2003, but I can't start the process "vpxd". And I uninistall and re-install the virtual center, the bug is still here.

Most likely a database problem, check your VC server logs for errors.

To view the log files open Windows Explorer and go to the C:\Windows\Temp\VPX directory on the Virtual Center server

Does the event log say anything helpful?

Also, check that your database is up.

But I don't know how to config the database.

From my own experiene that VirtualCenter Server won't start if the Database is not set up right.

At least it is somewhere to start.
