We have 2 identical hosts, just built for some testing we need to do. DL380 G5s. After they were built we found that we were one NIC short of what we wanted, so we shut them down and added a NIC (in the riser cage).
Now when it powers back up, if we try to log in as root, after we enter the password the cursor flashes for a while, then goes back to the login prompt again. It is happening on both servers. Any ideas?
