A snapshot isn't like go back or system restore point, it's an actual image of the environment, so you can't scale it for a particular drive.
snapshots are a differential between the original envrionment including memory, running programs and everything that was going on when you took the snapshot. That's why it's best to take a snapshot when teh VM was off. Otherwise you could end up with unpredictable results when you "restore" the snapshot.
