I'm quite new to VMware's Update Manager, so please bear with me.
I've recently installed Update Manager and updated all my hosts, which were originally installed from an ISO image of ESX 3.5.0. Before I ran Update Manager, the hosts reported that they were at build 64607; after updating they report themselves as at build 120512. Does that mean they're now at a build of 3.5.0 U2, or do I have to actually have to upgrade them to get to 3.5.0 U2 (via the 3.5.0 U2 ISO)?
Thanks,
Chris
That build number reflects that you're at the most current build rev (3.5 U2 + patches).. No point in rebuilding your hosts if they're running fine!

Terrific -- that's what I hoped. Thanks!
