I am currently experiencing the issue of all CPUs on each of my hosts spike to 100% cpu utilization every 10min. I have been reading on the forums about CIM but I do not see services related to it using 100% cpu at any given time using TOP. I actually see no cpu increase in TOP only in ESXTOP where it shows each of my guests use 100% CPU each during this time. I am also running ESX 3.5, 176894 not ESXi which most of the posts I have found are about. The server I am using is a Dell 1950 connected to a Netapp FAS2020. Because we are running Lab Manager 3 I cannot vmotion my machines to get a downtime window to disable CIM to see if that fixes my issue. Can someone help me disable it without restarting the host? Anyone experience else experience this issue on ESX 3.5?
