Best Practices Migration from ESX 3.0 to 3.5??

Anyone have any tips on BP for Migration? Is there a document out there?? Moving from IBM x365 Xeon hosts to Dell 2950 QuadCore hosts...Mostly Windows 2003 SP2 systems, 1 NT4 (yes, can you believe it), and several Win2000 servers...

you want migrate from your oldibm host to new dell system? Are you using Virtual Center and a SAN or your VM are on local system datastore?

With such an upgrade I would get the new VMware tools from 3.5, upgrade the guests and then shut them down and migrate them. Once migrated over, right click and do a hardware upgrade on each of the guests and then start them back up. The cpu and hardware are going to change significantly going from going from your old system to your new system.
