Hello group, we have a quite serious problem, when adding a new virtual disk, it appears in storage manage under windows 2008 SP2, but is not formattable and device manager lists it as an unknown device.
The same happens when trying to partition freespace after the end of the system disks after extending it on vmware.
The problem is similar to the one exposed in this thread http://communities.vmware.com/thread/225887, The only difference is that no other programs besides exchange 2007 and vmtools are installed on the guest
The ESX 3.5 runs update 4
Any help is greatly appreciated.
