Adaptec 2405 Storage Manager ESX 4

Hi,

I just installed ESX 4 with Adaptec 2405. I want to install Storage Manager but upon checking, the support version is for 3.5 (32 bit) only. Anyone tried using the available version onESX 4?

Hi,

just installed the Adaptec Storage Manager on ESX 4. (Version 6.1.0.18359)

Had some problems on ESX 3.5. Will test it under ESX 4. Will stress the host for some days and will post my experiences.

But at the moment it seems to work. - ATTENTION: NOT oficially supportet!!! - This is just for test-machines!

The 2405 works fine with ESXi 4.0 U1 but there is no way to monitor the array's health. Kind of pointless to use unless I am missing something really obvious.

Does anyone have a way to monitor the health of the array when using this Adaptec card?
