Would someone please explain more about recommended settings for APC UPS for ESX with the APC UPS PowerChute software for ESX//
I have ESX set to do 'Guest Shutdown' automatically for all my VMs, and I also have Start and Stop automatically with the system turned for our one ESX host, and I have the PowerChute on the ESX host set to shutdown if battery is discharged or runtime is exceeded, with no wait time.
Are there any best/good practices out there for UPS settings for APC and ESX??
