15GB SSD drive and V3i

I've noticed the latest blade servers from IBM are shipping with dual 15GB SSD drives.

With the newly reduced footprint of V3i you think these drives mirrored would be adequate for this install? Or would we still need to stripe them (which we want to avoid doing). We would be using the data store on attached SAN.

15GB is sufficient - even with the current ESX version

Thanks, I was talking to someone who needed 30+ gigs for his full ESX install. I didn't ask how large his swap partition was thought.

He most likely created a (big) vmimages partition (which isn't really needed)
