vimsh question relating to setting number of vSwitch ports

In my script i have 3 vSwitches, I want to reduce the number of ports to 8, and have reflected this in my script to do so...the oddest thing is the script will only apply this change to vSwitch0 the rest remain at 64 when i type esxcft-vswitch -l

is this a bug?

do the commands need seperating!

ok fixed I applied a vimsh -n -e "/internalsvc/refresh_network" each time...

funny vc shows it as 0 &24 though at the same time?

Just for the sake of discussion, why are you changing this? We significantly customize ESX in our environment, in fact, tweak the hell out of the OEM baseline configuration. But this specific aspect we don't mess with, so just wondering why you do. I am sure you have good reason, just wondering if you would explain?
