vcb backup and file attributes

Usually when you use a backup software it will remove the A attribute on the files so they are as backed up.

vcb doesnt do this when you make a file level backup. It is causing us a problem because we have a cleanup utility that will remove files once they have been marked as backed-up.

Any ideas?

Thank you

You cannot use archive attribut to do increamental or differential backup.

You have to base this backup on timestamp.

Only in this way they will work with VCB in filelevel mode.
