I recently upgraded from esx 2.5.x to 3.0.1 and found that the swap partition no more has an UUID listed against it in the /etc/fstab.
It shows as follows :
/dev/sda3 swap swap defaults 0 0
Is it a change that occurs during the upgrade.
i never got the answer any way closing this question
