Anyone know if the "VMware Infrastructure Standard to Enterprise Upgrade (DRS, VMotion) " works with foundation ?
I'd test it out, but at 2cpus, its not fully licenced for my server.

To upgrade a foundation license you would need to upgrade from foundation to enterprise. See page 5 / 6 of the pricing guide - http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/vi_pricing3.pdf.

Unfortunately it was purchased without my consultation :_|
You could still get a foundation -> standard upgrade and the base license plus the 2 combos should give you what you want. Your reseller may also be able to swap out the standard -> ent license with a foundation -> ent license.
