sercice console wrong nic

I made a mistake and assign nic2 for my Service console.. I did some correction and i used nic0 for my service console. As soon as I apply the changes from the vi client, I can no longer access the service console IP..

how can i correct and rectify the issue..in the command line?

esx 3.5.2 is my version.

thanks

You will need to go to the SC and do it from there. Check out page 15 on this pdf.

You will have to either create a vswif on the desired Vswitch or move the pNIC uplink to the appropriate Vswitch.

esxcfg-vswitch vSwitch0 -U vmnic2

esxcfg-vswitch vSwitch0 -L vmnic0

U stands for Unlink, L stands for Link.

Keep in mind that you will want to do this from the actual console (not SSH'ed in)... Otherwise you will find out too late that you just took down your only network connection. Not that I'VE EVER done that...;)
