Hi,
We've run into a problem that I want to double check on before we do anything.
While rebuilding a corrupted vdisk, we did not pay attention to the naming. Can we safely rename disk vdisk6(1) to vdisk6 without causing any problems?
Yes you can I have done that

you can rename without any problems. I just tested to confirm. I renamed a datastore, did an svmotion, renamed it back to the original name and svmotioned back. All went smooth.
this vdisk(6) is presented to my 4 ESX hosts.
I'm assuming I need to rename it on all the ESX hosts?
rename it on one, the rest will recognize the change.
