migrate / Upgrade GSX clients to VI3

Hello,

I am trying to migrate / upgrade my GSX clients to my new clustered VI3 environment.

anyone did that before? I used to use vmkfstools in 2.5 world, not sure if there is an easier or better way in the new ESX3.

any ideas?

You can still use vmkfstools (with the -i option) as the disk format has changed. You should also take a look at their free converter tool: www.vmware.com/converter

If your VMs use virtual SCSI disks you can use vmkfstools to import the disks.

Another option (already mentioned) is VMware Converter.
