lost all my templates during upgrade of VI 2.0 to VI 2.5

Hello All,

I upgraded the VI server from 2.0 to 2.5. During the upgrade, I have a warning message saying that "MSDE is install and must be replaced by the MS SQL 5.0". After the installation, i lost the whole config (Ressource Pool definition, users definition & right access). I recreated it easily and fastly but i can not see the templates anymore (even with the check box "Show Templates" flagged )

Thanks for your help

browse your datastore, your templates are probably there just removed from inventory.

browse datastore and find template folders and add it to inventory.

Ok, the templates are in the datastore.

So selecting the .vmtx file let you choose the option "add to inventory"

Thanks

yes, and then templates should be available in Virtual Machine and Template view.

if you find that my previous post was helpful you can award me points for that Smiley Wink
