iSCSI Openfiler nic bonding

Hi - I realise this is a VMware forum, however I also assume there are a lot of people that are using OpenFiler as a iSCSI target for their ESX servers.

Does anyone have OpenFiler configured with nic bonding..... and traffic being evenly dispersed over all interfaces that belong to the bond? Particularly with a Cisco switch?

I've currently got a bond created, but traffic from the ESX is slamming mostly the 1 NIC (there's 3 nics in the bond). Bonding mode is set to balance-alb

At present - bond0 has received 2.93GB and sent 1.13GB of traffic

Slaves of the bond - eth1 has received 2.93GB and sent 1.08GB

eth2 has received 213kb and sent 50MB

eth3 has received 213kb and sent 472MB

Any pointers would be great.

Well after thorough testing this bonding mode seems OK - you need a whole load of traffic for other nics to kick in with ALB
