httpd on ESX 3.5

Where is a httpd.conf on esx 3.5 ?

Ive installed 3.5 and after install i changed ip and it is all ok, but when i try to add that host in HA cluster i get this

Configuration of host IP is inconsistent on host xxx.xxx.xxx.109 adress resolved to xxx.xxx.xxx.109 (and old install ip) xxx.xxx.xxx.66

And when i go to console on first screen i still have that old adress but server is working on new ip, any help appreciated.

Take a look here:

http://kb.vmware.com/kb/4309499

Make sure the ESX host is pingable by IP, FQDN, and shortname from both the ESX host itself, and the VirtualCenter server

Hi,

1)Here is the path

/usr/lib/vmware-mui/apache/conf/httpd.conf

2) for ip displaying at console change ip in /etc/hosts

this may help you in the future, just change the file name at the end. Hope it helps you in other challenges:8}

find -name in / httpd.conf
