esx3.0.2 - we did install new NICs in the server. after i reboot the server, the hostd service doesnt start.
Its the same NICs that i installed in other servers (same model) in the cluster. all the other servers are up & running. But only one server in the cluster gives this issue.
I rebooted the host - but no help. I restarted the mgmt-vmware service; but immediately the service stops. had anyone faced this issue OR can u guide me where to look at. I had a look at hostd & vmkernel logs which doesnt really points me anywhere
