Folks, any idea of windows based tool, which can update on real time for log files? These log files are going to be on Windows server (VDM) and ESXbox.
Thanks
If you are looking for a Windows GUI version of the command "tail -f" then you could take a look at the SMS Trace (trace32.exe) tool in the "Systems Management Server 2003 Toolkit 2" (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sms/bb676787.aspx), and the price is right. Don't let the reference to SMS confuse you. Trace32 works fine on any text based log file and updates in real time. It also has highlighting of keywords and find.
Update - I found this tool called mTail, which looks quite decent.
Splunk runs in Windows and will consume all type of logs.
