Volumes blinking red in /vmfs/volumes

Hi everyone,

I have an urgent one here... we lost power for about 30 minutes and now when i look at /vmfs/volumes both volumes are blinking red. Anyone here who knows what's going on? All the VM's seem OK to me.

Regards,

Joris

At some point, you have to try rebooting the host.

I will only add, on persistant storage issues? I do as little as possible on the ESX console(s) / VC until I figure out what the issue is. I'd bank you have some issue with the storage network you have not figured out yet.

Also I am assuming power interuptioj also aftected your filers, did you bring up your filers before your ESX servers?

Try re-scanning on your ESX servers.

Try a rescan of the storage adapters on the ESX host. You can also try restarting the management agent with "service mgmt-vmware restart". If neither of those work, I'd reboot the host.
