Vmotion - requirements - is this possible

Hi I current have dell dell severs already running a cluster and can do vmotion - these two servers have Intel(R) Xeon(R) E7220 processors. I have another two older dell servers that I would like to connect to the dell servers and form a 4 way cluster - they have Intel(R) Xeon(TM) processors in them - are these compitable to form a larger cluster or not ?

Dell have a handy matrix that will answer this for you, but off hand I don't believe so, at least not with out use of bit-masking.

Or you can upgrade to VC 2.5 u2. U2 now will make sure all hosts add to the cluster will have the correct CPU mask to ensure vmotion between them. If the CPU is too far apart, you can't add them into the cluster.
