i had just joined this forum. While installing Vmware tools in the RHel 5 as guest Os and windows XP as Host OS. i face this problem.when i install the tools
Which is in .tar.gz format as the rpm is not working for rhel 5. I get this error (pic attached).It was for a gcc location,i tried downloading it though net but wasnt able to download it properly And i am unable to install The tools.
Also one more question is that
how can i connect two Rhel machines (virtual machines) through virtual lan so that one act as server and other as host .
I am using Vmware version 6
Please help
