VMKPING Problem ...

Hi all,

I try to troubleshooting VMotion issue and try to use vmkping command on Esx 3.02. It prompt an error "version mis-match ... or something like that" - I am not in front of the COS at the moment. I wonder that I need to re-install the vmkping? If so, where can I down load it? Thanks

Check out your patch level. I remember seeing a patch for 3.0.2 that fixed a vmkping issue.

Actually, if your keeping up with your patching you shouldn't have this issue. Here is the link for the required patch.
