VM page file

there is no process running but the VM PF is 3.15GB RAM consistent, how can I bring the pf down? the vm has total 4Gb.

If we are talking about the pagefile within the VM you would need to modify the OS parameters. If we are talking about the VM .vswp you will need to increase the reservation, If you set the reservation to 4Gb no .vswp will be created. Mind that the vswp is only used when memory is overcommited to a certain level.

Do you mean the page-file within the VM or the .vswp file?
