VM Copy

I need to copy the entire VM confi/VMDK file and send to remote location, I tried to do a network copy but it was taking forever, Is there any other better way to copy the entire VM?

Thanks in advance.

Use VMware Converter.

You can do V2V operation.

Export from one ESX and import to a new one.

If you want to do a copy ESX to ESX you can use also scp (but is slower) or Veem FastSCP.

No. I think you misunderstood my question. I don't need to copy from one esx to another. I need to send a copy of the VM to someone else across the site. They don't have the esx server. They need a VM image so they can install a local free ESX server on their pc and use my VM image.

Use VMware Convert to export from ESX to other format (aka file).
