VI client gets "connection failed" af upgrade from 3.0.0 to 3.0.2

Hi, we have a standalone ESX server. It has been upgraded from ESX 3.0.0 to ESX 3.0.2 today, and after this our VM's doesn't start and we are unable to connect to the ESX host using VI client - the resonse is "connection failed". Also we cannot access the http interface. Through telnet 902, we can see that the server is listening on port 902.

We have tried downgrading the server to ESX 3.0.1 without any luck and we have also updated the server bios firmware - just to be sure.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Our server was reinstalled as a new install (with keep virtual machines option selected) rather than an upgrade. So now everything is working as expected. But - if anyone knows the answer to my question or has had similar problems I'd still like to hear about it for future reference.
