VCB Error

Hi,

I'm having an issue with VCB stating there is Backup Snapshot that already exists - There is no Snapshot on the SAN, but below is the output I receive. Anybody had a similar experience?

Cheers!

Scanning snapshot VCB-BACKUP

Found match: snapshot-6028

Error: Backup snapshot already exists.

An error occurred, cleaning up...

Shutting down VMDB service...

Unregistering callback...

...done

In virtual center right click the VM and check the snapshot manager to ensure there is not a snapshot that was not removed from a previous attempt.

Thanks for this - It could well be the answer to my problem, however the Snapshop option is greyed out when I right click the VM - We have another 3.02 platform that we support and I don't have this issue, so I'm guessing I do not have sufficient permissions...at the moment, anyway. Thanks again.

This issue was resolved by removing the snapshop from the relevent storage, as I couldn't access snpshot manager. I was able to SUDO to where the snapshot was located and used the "removesnapshots" command. Thanks
