I need to know if there is a suportable version of sshd in vmware higher than 3.8, or if I can upgrade my version without losing support in the product.
Any modification to the console OS (other than certain third party agent installs) will most likely invalidate your support. You may be able to update the openssh in the COS using Redhat ES 3 RPMs but I would really, really not try.
