Update Manager to update ESX3.0.1 32039 to 3.5 Update 4

I have 7 x ESX 3.0.1 32039 servers connected to VC 2.5 build 147633

Is is possible to install Update Manager and use it to update my ESX 3.0.1 servers to ESX 3.5?

No, you have to be on ESX 3.5 in order to use Update manager for a host.

correction: 3.0.3 is supported as well.

I would suggest rebuilding the hosts or upgrading with a CD.

You can also use the .tar.gz file to upgrade to 3.5U3 and then use the Update Manager.

But probably reinstallation could be the best solution.
