Dear All
I can mounter VM in file-level, but when I unmounter the VM (C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Consolidated Backup Framework>vcbmounter -h server-esx3 -u xxxxxx -p xxxxx -U d:\mnt\esx3\app3nz -L 6), the error message shows below

My VMs are in different subnet (VCB server = 192.168.25.x, APP3NZ=172.19.33.x, server-esx3 = 192.168.25.x), do I need to set up a DNS server on my VCB Proxy Server? ?:|
Anyone had the same issue before? Any idea?
If the VMs hostname can not be resolved via DNS by the proxy, the easiest way to fix this issue might be unsing the hosts file in %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc and add an entry for the VM. This will enable gethostbyname to get the correct ip address.
Kind Regards,

I have try vcbmounter by ipaddr:
the error message shows below
Received soap response from : retrieveContent
Connected using API Namespace v
im2.
Sending soap request to : login
Received soap response from : login
Performing automatic unmount Error: Could not read unmount information
Sending soap request to [TCP:ricoha
uk-esx3:443]: logout
Mount and Dismount by ipaddr. So after I change name to ipaddr, there is no problem at all. :smileycool:
