UDA not receiving DHCP address

Hi

I have configured the UDA (Ultiamate Deployment Appliance) as a VM running on a HP blade. The UDA is both DHCP and TFTP server.

I'm trying to boot another "fresh" blade on PXE and start the installation from the UDA appliance.

The UDA and the blade are running on the same VLAN

When the server boots on PXE it gets an IP address from UDA and presents the choices of script to run.

When i select one of the scripts it starts the ESX installation, loads the qlogic driver and so on. When it gets to the "sending request for ip information for eth0" it stops. The choice of using DHCP or setting the address manually is displayed.

When I hit CTRL-ALT-F3 the following message is displayed:

***********

Waiting for link ...

15 seconds

pump told us: No DHCP reply received

***********

Why does the initial PXE boot get an IP address and not the second (ESX installation)?

When I try to use a VM and boot it with PXE it works fine.
