My VI Client cannot connect to virtual centre , even all VM services is running and pingable .it just pop up with error message " The server could not interpret the client's request"
I have using Antivirus McAFee 8.5 and McAfee services are also not stopped. Restart the VI Client services and SQL services but same error.

Try restarting the entire VC server.
Stop and re-start the Update Manager service on the VirtualCenter server
Take a look at the logs on the virtual center
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs\vpxd-#.log

Which version of VC are you using?
And which version on VIC?

Hello all
I have the same problem in my envirement.
Server VC001 is a W2k3 std EN, VC Server 2.5.0 Build 174768
Server SQL001 is a W2k3 std EN, SQL 2005SP2
Often i got on logon VIC "The server could not interpret the client's request". Restart VC Service, now it runs, but i got it over and over.
Space on Harddisk is also no problem, the are enough space on every drive (vc and sql).
And i also have often the problem that weblogin does not work, because "web service unavailable". But i configured like written in this kb article.
Did anybody havean idee for both Problems? Maybe the same issue?
